FAQS

What is Coast2Coast Connect?
Top companies are outsourcing their call volume through companies like Coast 2 Coast Connect and then we search for hard-working individuals like you to take
inbound customer service calls from home!

Choose hours that suit your lifestyle and avoid getting dressed and battling a daily commute!

Is this legit work from home opportunity?
You’ll find many scams in the Work At Home world… Coast 2 Coast Connect is run by former work from home contractors, we guarantee to provide 100% legitimate
work-at-home opportunities.

Are there fees to work at home?
This is the most common question asked among individuals such as yourself in today’s society. The answer: As an independent contractor you are
responsible for the equipment, supplies, and any fees associated with using our platform as well as fees associated with using our partner’s platforms
and/or when receiving our support services.

Equipment and supply costs will vary depending on the client demands and brands you choose. Registering is FREE. Individuals only incur a service fee once they begin taking
live customer service calls for a client. There are no start-up fees or fees upfront.

Our company collectively decided to volunteer their time to assist new registrants, like yourself, and not charge them through the registration process.
Coast 2 Coast Connect will never collect money from you until you start working with one of our partners taking live calls. We pay our contractors on the
1st and 15th of the month and have a service fee of 49.99 per pay period.

This is charged to our contractors to cover our operating expenses and allow you the freedom to work from home! A background check is required and
is a fee for the contractor.

Background Checks and Job Assessments
Individuals are required to submit to and pass, a criminal background check to do business together. This is a one-time fee paid by the independent contractor a
third-party company which is required by our partners. Coast 2 Coast Connect does not collect this fee.

After successful completion of the registration process, individuals will be prompted to complete a Job Assessment before selecting a job opportunity. The assessment
is open book and you have the option to use the internet or search things on Google. You will not be able to view current job openings until the assessment is completed.
In some cases, a drug screening will be required.

Failure to pass these may hinder your ability to proceed and work from home.

Can I work from anywhere?
Unfortunately, we are not accepting contractors from California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Wisconsin, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin
Islands. But welcome any other states! You must legally reside in the United States and be 18 years or older.

Can I use a cell phone or tablet to take calls?
No;
mobile phones, tablets, and iPads are not compatible. These devices work off a satellite signal causing it to be vulnerable and an unreliable source of service.

Is WIFI Internet allowed?
-No;
Wi-Fi works just like cellular and satellite devices. They’re neither secure nor compatible with our systems, software, or programs. You will
need to ensure your computer is hard-wired using an Ethernet cable. An ethernet cable is similar to a line that runs to old-fashioned landlines
however they’re slightly larger and typically blue.

Once the ethernet cable is plugged into your computer and your internet modem, it is then considered Hard-Wired. These are more permanent/solid
connected circuits. You can purchase these cables in your local store(s) such as Walmart and Staples or online with eBay or Amazon. Simply search,
“ethernet cable”. You can find them rather cheap and all different lengths and colors!

How am I paid?
As an Independent Contractor, each individual has a choice as to which option best fits their needs. Agents will be paid VIA direct deposit. Agents must have a
checking account with a routing and account number that accepts ACH payments. Agents will be paid on the 1st and 15th of every month. We try to send funds
out early if there is a Holiday close by so agents have funds to spend on their friends, family, or themselves to enjoy.

Are taxes taken out?

-No; You will receive a 1099 as an Independent Contractor at the end of each calendar year if you earn over $600. By law, we are required to report this to the IRS.
We recommend speaking with a tax consultant once you receive your first invoice if you’re unsure how to file.

Tax Write-Offs Include, but are not limited to:

Internet
Cable
Phone (Mobile or Home)
Phone App(s)
Computer expenses (such as a brand-new computer or equipment)
The portion of your home used as your office Platform and Service Usage Fee

Speak with a tax consultant for additional write-offs and/or discounts!

Is this a Part-time or Full-Time opportunity?
-As an Independent Contractor, each individual has a choice as to which option best fits their needs and how much they would like to work; however, agents must service a
minimum of 15 hours each week. We have options for all types of shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) too. Each agent is responsible for creating their work schedules using our scheduling
program (you’ll learn more about this after registering online). Work as little or as long as you’d like – 3 weeks, 3 years, or even 30 years!

How much money can I make?
Your compensation all depends on you! Some clients you choose to service require you to work specific hours, some may allow you to work any time during a 24-hour period.

What type of services will I provide as an Independent contractor?
We partner with multiple clients that need contractors like you to provide customer service, technical support, email support, sales, and chat support to clients.
You’ll choose from our many clients and provide your services.

Do you take taxes out of my paycheck?
No, we are not responsible for your taxes. You are an independent contractor and are responsible for your own taxes. You will receive a
1099 at the end of the year if you’ve made $600 or more.
